Yes, great initiative on the part of Varese. Maybe some of the other labels could do likewise?

The prices are particularly good when you consider that they include the U.K. VAT charge of 20%.

3 cheers?

3 cheeseburger wrappers, rather.

Remember zooba's post last year to the idiots in charge. smile

"So VARESE is PAYING IDIOTS to ship their wonderful products. I would think Varese would have given them instructions on how to ship breakable CD's and use Bubble Wrap for their Paying Customers.

EVERYBODY LOSES! BUT I still say VARESE is Ultimately Responsible.

RAGGEDY MAN is SOLD OUT No getting replacements on those.

The thing for Varese to do is step up to the plate with some refunds or gifts to us and let us keep the damaged goods we were sent. And send those gifts themselves in STURDY packaging.

They are still responsible for whatever happens with an idiot service they have hired.

Varese you can send any refunds or gifts to me.

my orders can be looked up at: zooba57 at gmail.com"

I think this was a good move from Varese. Wish they had released RAGGEDY MAN now, so I could afford it.

Having said that, I consider weird the fact they started a sale yesterday but it isn't available on the UK page. Don't really get it, it doesn't make sense.

The last SAE sale I indulged in had good priced sale CDs but with postage amounting to the same and eventual customs virtually tripled the price. Never again at those prices especially as many began their lives in Europe. Good that Varese sees a profit in doing this.

The new sale is stuff they've found in their US warehouse, so of course it isn't available on their international site, 'cos they don't ship from the US.

They've also said repeatedly that this international site is for Club titles and limited releases. It won't have any wide releases or catalogue titles.

The last three instances where I ordered.from them was their moviescore Media sale. The discs.were . 95 cents each.So I made a point of asking them to put the correct value on package ( for a change) , which was about $7 - ish .So the parcel shouldn't/wouldn't/didn't get slammed.Rightly so too.

10 CD's for €207,64 including €14,74 for Royal Mail International - Not Trackable... €14,74 to ship 10 CD's is better than some European stores. A very good deal but not trackable? Why? That makes me nervous.

There is no other shipping method to European countries that would be trackable? What happens if my parcel gets lost?

No PayPal either... at least I would feel more secure to order through PayPal in case something goes wrong.

I also think that it would be nice to get trackable shipping & paypal payment option, but nonetheless great achievement by Varese.

P.S. If packages get lost, we will venting stress in specifically created pointless thread only for this purpose here on FSM. big grin

Thanks ANDCON for bringing this to our attention - this is brilliant news, and hopefully this initiative will do well and we will see Intrada and LLL follow suit.

This is a good thing that we now avoid the extra custom fees, but there might arise a barrier between EU and UK in 2021 thanks to prime minister Boris Johnson!

Well not exactly Boris Johnson, actually 17.4 million people who voted for it, but it's best we leave it there (with the truth of the matter)

Great-news - Varese have always been ex, they might of dropped off on titles but that is up for debate because there is nit-pickers who want grails-only who then sulk over the label's project, I also stand-up that their packaging is fine even finer now this side of the pond, the irony is will fans now be happy saving pocket-money or will fans forever whimper knowing that Varese bent over-backwards for Europeans.

Hi!
Can you give us this track number (not full, but first & final letters) - I also have plans for buying from intl. shop, so if their "untrackable" numbers will work for me - why should I pay more? wink
Thanks

I see that Varese are using Awesome Distro based in Leeds as distributors. I never request tracking. If it gets lost it gets lost - but I've never had a CD lost in the post.
