Wow. I don't often get these right, but I know precisely what 'too delightful for words' cue is from! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to actually say the title on here as I don't want to spoil the surprise. But I heard the cue last night and thought...that's SO familiar. Woke up this morning and I know what it is for sure.

Btw, one of the posts above does indeed mention the correct composer.

Say, Ford, how is The Belstone Fox? To most, in all probability, it is not Johnson's high point, but to me it near enough is.

We just don't have enough Laurie Johnson available at this time

I'd love to do LADY AND THE HIGHWAYMEN, I'd also kill to do ISLAND OF THE ALIVE as well.

4 CD set of THE. AVENGERS (Both Emma Peel and Tara King) would be so cool

Maybe someday.

A suite from I AIM AT THE STARS would be nice, too.

A great two CD set would be from these four TV movie based on Barbara Cartland novels from the late 80's and early 90's

1991 Duel of Hearts (TV Movie)
1990 A Ghost in Monte Carlo (TV Movie)
1988 The Lady and the Highwayman (TV Movie)
1987 A Hazard of Hearts (TV Movie)

Also special mention should be made of the 1979 tv based on a Barbara Cartland novel entitled "The Flame Is Love" which was scored by Morton Stevens which is very good.

Maybe someday

I have no patience with guessing, but I'll be buying all three anyway.

This is just tease, trying to bring attention to these releases.

I am just listening Edsel LJ green 3DCD box set with one CD dedicated to THE PROFESSIONALS and what a marvelous brassy/groovy music it is.
Would be nice to get music from THE PROFESSIONALS released as box set.

So...no Terry Plumeri in those 3 releases?

Yes, the first clip reminded me of Dennis McCarthy too.
The second made me think Conrad Pope for some reason.
And I've no idea about the 3rd clip, but I loved the John Williams style it was aiming for.

I'd be all over that like a killer baby on a milkman.

I think October will be interesting it's starting to look like we'll have 4 releases, one of them will be a 2 CD composer collection set of two scores that appeared on LP's back in 80's that have NEVER appeared on CD.

Still working on the other 3, but it will be a busy month.

Also if I can get them done, we'll have several High Rez Digital only releases with digital booklets of some pretty nice efforts that we will hope you enjoy.

The second clip doesnt sound like Goodwin to me.
For a clip as long as that id expect a Goodwin signature and there's none. It sounded more Cordell -ish to me.

Nope, it's note either of them.

We sure could use GOD TOLD ME TO by Cordell....

Now if only the estate would let it happen.

Why does it seem that the owners of music are the most stubborn of obstacles?
