The only made for television score I would consider a holy grail is CENTENNIAL.

Then there is Max Steiner's THE HANGING TREE and Victor Young's THE CONQUEROR.

Besides the complete Indiana Jones, James Bond and Star Wars scores:

1) Psycho III - Carter Burwell confirmed in June that it is finally coming, complete score + album. Hope it is released shortly.
2) Fright Night Part II - Brad Fiedel, a great improvement over the first score. This seems very difficult due to the movie’s complicated rights issues (small production company went bankrupt, film remains unreleased on Blu-ray and streaming to this day) and Fiedel already mentioned he has no copies of this score. Fiedel recently mentioned that some new tapes may have been found for the first score. They were not certain on what the tapes contained but they were being transferred. Hopefully it will allow for a better version of the first soundtrack to be released, or even better if these tapes turn out to contain the second score.
3) Batman & Robin - Goldenthal
4) Arachnophobia- complete, with the Shirley Walker music for the finale
5) King Kong - rejected Howard Shore score

4) the Hobbit & and Return of the King (Maury Laws)

This is pretty much bubbling up to the top for me.

Other than that I think it's Buckaroo Banzai and Top Gun.

Wow. I think I'm sitting pretty. I have it all.

(OK, I want a Star Wars set that compares with the amazing Star Trek movie releases that we got. But at this point that's being greedy.)

Ooh, what about Horner's music for Streets of Fire?
Has it ever been determined how much was recorded?
I remember having a ten minute suite during the days of napster that I liked a lot.

"Holy Grail" has really gotten trivialized. These threads almost always turn into lengthy "want lists" usually packed with expansions.

I haven't really got any true Holy Grails left. They've all been released in some form. And I'm getting really tired of the "Big Announcements" of some fabulous new release that turns into the 3rd re-issue on CD expanded and with tons of alternate (usually very repetitious) cues. Don't get me wrong, some are great and I was thrilled to have them.

I have nothing against expanded or C&C releases, but they really aren't holy grails if there is a generous 70 minute CD out there already. I would like to see releases of scores that have never been on CD (only LP or short suites in compilations) or that were released in the very early days of limited 30-40 minute CDs and are now expensive (MACARTHUR comes to mind). And of course, any score that has never been released at all.
Any unreleased Goldsmith, Williams, Bernstein, Jarre, Rozsa, North, and others would be welcome.
A couple of specifics:
NIGHT OF THE HUNTER - Walter Schumann
TELL THEM WILLIE BOY IS HERE - Dave Grusin

But I wouldn't call them Holy Grails.

An update: Yes to the following that have just been mentioned by others.
THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER
VERA CRUZ
MIKLOS ROZSA AT UNIVERSAL
THE HARDER THEY FALL.
If the Tadlow label continues, I hope they will do what James has previously shown an interest in doing....THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER.

The truth is, I don't have any specific cravings. I just have hope that more masters for great Golden and Silver Age titles we don't think exist get uncovered in a salt mine, or under a calm rock.
