Weirdly, this looks more like a rip-off than a remake - think "Remote" or "Dennis the Menace" (which yes, was based on an old comic and tv show, but the movie was more or less a rip-off of "Home Alone"). I guess if anything this shows how inimitable the 1990 "Home Alone" really is. I'll sample Debney's score when it's available.

Disney has a sick obsession with justifying the destruction of the past. The second Star Wars sequel was literally all about that. What a nihilistic cash grab this is.
