(Other than the end credits theme), the fourth episode is the first to have any score worth listening to outside of the show. It will be interesting to see if there's enough decent material by the end of the series to form a good album. I certainly hope so, because I love CB's Marvel style.
Show is awesome. Really loving the slow burn and appreciate what Marvel is doing here. Without spoiling anything love the emotional undercurrent that permeates the show and what is going on. Beck’s score is great too.
I'm sure a lot of people gave up after the first two episodes, but it does get much more interesting starting with episode 4.
This! I almost gave up after the first few episodes. Was like "wtf is this?! And so little Chris Beck score!!!" lol! But it now gets better and better and more interesting. And even kinda creepy (without giving any specific spoilers). The score luckily gets better and better as well. And longer. I think we will have a very nice full album of good score once all episodes are available.
I finally caved on subbing to D+ (I was intending to wait until Loki was out so I had a few series to get through) and watched all 5 eps this weekend - utterly loving what the series is doing, and some of the cues have been knockout too. I love the main theme, but also was tapping my foot to the end credit arrangements of those varying ...decades, I guess... show openings. There's so much great stuff going on here!
Finally, after three episodes of almost nothing it starts to tie together. I just wish they'd restructured the plot in some to ward off the abject boredom. But the cast is excellent, the leads have great chemistry, the music is absolutely pitch perfect throughout, and now the story is getting interesting.
$8 dollars for seven minutes of (digital) music? YIKES! Should've just gave it out for free.
You can listen to most of the cues for free by the samples since they're so short, lol! But they get longer and longer for each episode it seems. Episode four has around 18 minutes i.e.

They should've waited and done a compilation. But you all know that.
And, for “attentive fans,” Beck points out, “there are also musical Easter eggs that refer to other Marvel films. Some of them are pretty subtle. Some are not.”
Has anybody found any of these? I love this kind of thing!

Not that I could think of...
I did however FEEL that I heard a few notes from his Buffy/Angel love theme in episode 6. But most likely its just me over-analyzing it, lol!

When this show is all said and done, someone (who is more ambitious than me) will need to put together a CD length playlist of highlights from all episodes. I already downloaded the main theme and the Agatha Harkness song to satisfy my "Marvel music needs" but I haven't really spotted anything else that stood out while watching the show... and I not gonna spend $70+ to download all the music.
