Did they stop giving clues? Not that I'm any good at that game.

Intrada stopped giving clues months ago, they went straight to posting the cover so no games, no clues, just a nice straight forward "here's what's coming"

It seems like all the questions re "what's next" led them to let us know a date but they dont want to / aren't yet in a position to let us know yet.
If they follow their established pattern the week before they'll post the cover(s).

Willow! Complete!

Roger said it is not ready yet but it is in the pipeline. So be patient with that one.

Ha yeah I know, I think I'm the one that asked him at one point. I just figured if that pumpkin guy and yell US Marshalls Complete in every thread and get his wish, I might as well try.

I mean, aside, Intrada gave me a complete Return To Oz. They will forever be Gods to me for that alone.

I assume you mean a reissue, given they already did that one...

No, I got the original issue. I'm saying they are awesome for it.

Update from Doug Fake on the next release :

http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/sc.13/category.60330/.f

"Our next new release, due later this month is actually an all-time favorite of mine, oft-discussed amongst my friends here and coming from my personal favorite era of movies and film scores. The composer, a multi-Oscar nominee, wrote a lot of fantastic scores but this one coming up is in my opinion his most exciting and memorable. Opinions may vary but this is mine so give it some weight. The main title cue is certainly one of the most riveting and powerful opening credit sequences that ever set a movie in motion. Watch it on screen, listen to it on your audio player, either way it’s an incredible piece of music. Needless to say, I’ll play this one often.. "

Update on the next release from Doug’s Corner (includes a shoutout to Quartet’s Endless Night release):

Our next new release, due later this month is actually an all-time favorite of mine, oft-discussed amongst my friends here and coming from my personal favorite era of movies and film scores. Needless to say, I’ll play this one often.

By the way, just an album worth spotlighting at the moment: Endless Night. This is a Bernard Herrmann score that I was previously familiar with only by name. I’d neither heard any of it nor seen the picture for which it was composed. An Agatha Christie story, Hayley Mills in the cast, the influence of Hitchcock in the air and Bernard Herrmann scoring for a modest ensemble of woodwinds (emphasis on clarinets), 4 horns (no other brass), strings, harp, percussion and Minimoog (synthesizer). Discovering new Herrmann music is one of the treats of the film music world. A major asset is the conducting of Fernando Velazquez, a prolific composer with whom I have a very large shelf-full of soundtracks that he’s composed over the years. He obtains a lot of nuance with the myriad orchestral colors. And credit an extremely detailed recording to assist in that detail, with the Basque National Orchestra in total command of the score. This CD is a wonderful treat from our friends at Quartet Records, under the very capable Jose M. Benitez. Bravo!

I don’t know, Doug’s mention of the composer being multi-Oscar NOMINEE might eliminate Herrmann since he did win an Oscar.

Anyone know of anything by say Alex North that might fit the bill?

Newman's Airport sounded like one of the most riveting opening sequences ever, but the visuals accompanying the exciting music were just some snowplows clearing a runway.

Everyone stop guessing, I have the answer, It's going to be Scarface...I hope...Please let it be...Or The Rock...Or Rookie of the Year...

Actually I would really love Rookie of the Year by Bill Conti. I don't know if this is a Varese title or not. I don't know how likely it is, I'm just hopeful.

Edit: I just read his hints. Okay, it's none of my hopefuls. Forget everything I said.
