This never worked for me. I listen to what ever hits my mood, so it always ends up I'm interested in one of the two scores on a twofer but not both in the same sitting.
I think the idea of the thread is which scores we choose to pair in order to achieve a consistent mood.
Okay, gotcha! Pick any two Georges Delerue, John Barry or Leonard Rosenman titles and you got a prefect twofer.
A while back I made an edited version of Intrada’s SECRET OF NIMH with a few fades to better approximate true film sequence and found that it also paired very well with their complete RETURN TO OZ. The resulting “Return to NIMH” playlist stills get frequent play around here.
I combined "Seconds" and "Shock Treatment" so that I could liberate both scores from their existing inappropriate pairings on CD.
Actually, that is a much better combo, just on the music itself.
I'd originally had Seconds with the top two, because I felt like I've had a back-of-the-mind third there, but it wouldn't come to me. But Seconds is doing different things than Time Out and Seven Days, so I moved it and then rushed to judgment.
