I think we should be happy that this soundtrack is got its release in any way. It seems to me that the possible of this release was very low, and I'm more than happy, that we have a chance to hear this, probably, most unusual and at the same time great work from Trevor Jones who surprise me by his music again. Truly one of the most curious releases of this year (even though the movie was released in 2019) which I take to my top.

I agree. While I understand this is a site that has its basis in the hobby of soundtrack collecting (at least that is how I was turning onto it so long ago) I think the endless repetition of the users who just post "No CD = No Sale" diminishes the idea that we even get to hear a work like this. Think of all the wonderful short films, or low budget films, that might have great scores which we will never get to hear because of the costs and accessibility CD productions entails.

Sounds a lot like the first Ghost in the Shell (1995) anime soundtrack by Kenji Kawai.

The piece which Jones is referencing in "To Tokyo Opening" is explicitly "Dolls Polyphony" from Akira.
