Hmm…is that what they charged for their 4 CD set of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves?
How about their generous 11 score packed 4 CD Waxman set?

Robin Hood was $35.
To put this price into context, Titanic is $50 and the JW Disaster Boxset $75. Love Intrada and this score, however the price for me cannot be justified. I doubt very much that there’s a 120 minute plus film score to justify 2 CDs requiring one CD for alternatives and another CD for the soundtrack album. Remember that Elfman’s Plant of the Apes was a 3 CD set.

Only saying in jest. No need to go on the defense. I will also be buying this. My wallet says 4 CDs is a lot for this score.
It's too late anyway though because I've already pre-ordered all the copies of this release and I'm going to play them simultaneously on thousands of individual boombox CD players outside Hans Zimmer's house to give him a full wall-of-sound BRAAAAAHM effect.
A 4-CD set? I would've expected a 2-CD set. One of the discs is definitely the original album. I'm a fan of this score so looks like I'll be triple dipping regardless of the price. It's also of note that this 4-CD set is getting released on the 20th anniversary of Burton's Planet Of The Apes.
I'm so glad there's a plethora of great releases happening like in the old days, so we can afford to gripe about a label giving a score the last word as we move on to another release we like better.
