La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and Atlantic Records proudly present a limited edition, remastered 2- CD release of legendary composer James Horner’s (FIELD OF DREAMS, GLORY, TITANIC) original motion picture score to the classic 1982 sci-fi blockbuster STAR TREK II – THE WRATH OF KHAN, starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley, and directed by Nicholas Meyer. Considered to be one of James Horner’s finest scores, this deluxe reissue showcases this masterwork sounding better-than-ever and expanded with previously unreleased alternate tracks. Disc One features the score presentation, while Disc Two presents the re-mastered 1982 Original Soundtrack Album and additional music.
Produced by Neil S. Bulk and Mike Matessino, and re-mixed and mastered by Mike Matessino, this special 2-CD release is limited to 10000 units and features art design by Jim Titus. Disc One, and the additional score tracks on Disc Two, have been re-edited and remixed in hi-res from newly discovered 1st generation analog 3-track stereo tapes. The original soundtrack album has been newly remixed from digital-to-analog 3-track stereo tapes made in 1982.
The exclusive, in-depth liner notes by writer and musical director/conductor Deniz Cordell feature new comments from Sara Horner, Nicholas Meyer, producer Robert Sallin, former Paramount Music President Joel Sill, and longtime Horner collaborators Jim Henrikson and J.A.C. Redford.

This classic TV series chronicled the time-traveling adventures of two scientists flung into varied pasts and futures via a top-secret, underground government base called Project Tic-Toc. THE TIME TUNNEL was producer Irwin Allen’s favorite series among the ones he produced, and unlike LOST IN SPACE, VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA or LAND OF THE GIANTS, it would require the show’s scores to reflect not only the series’ overall sci-fi drama and adventure, but also the varied pasts and presents each episode would visit. Thankfully, a group of talented composers was more than up to this challenge!
This second volume collection of original music from THE TIME TUNNEL features stellar work from acclaimed composers Johnny Williams, Leith Stevens, Joseph Mullendore, Paul Sawtell, Robert Drasnin and George Duning, who propel this beloved show’s episodes with captivating orchestral ‘60s era television scoring. Showcased across this deluxe 3-Disc presentation are scores from the episodes “Revenge of the Gods,” “Massacre,” “Reign of Terror,” “Secret Weapon,” “The Death Trap,” and “The Death Merchant” along with additional music cues. Limited to 1000 units, this release is produced by Jeff Bond and Neil S. Bulk, executive produced for 20th Century Studios by Mike Matessino, and digitally edited and mastered from original mono recordings by James Nelson. The exclusive liner notes are by Jeff Bond and the art design is by Mark Banning.
This release is dedicated to the late and greatly missed Kevin Burns. His undying passion for all things Irwin Allen made our Irwin Allen soundtrack releases possible, including this one, which he was thrilled to make available to the fans.

Higher Purpose Productions presents the soundtrack from the original Live-to-Picture Symphony Concert WOMEN WARRIORS: THE VOICES OF CHANGE, created and conducted by Amy Andersson, and composed by Nathalie Bonin, Miriam Cutler, Anne-Kathrin Dern, Sharon Farber, Penka Kouneva, Starr Parodi and Lolita Ritmanis.
Recorded live in Riga, Latvia in February 2020, this collector’s edition CD includes a richly-detailed 28 page color booklet. This ground-breaking concert production was just awarded the Shorty Social Good Awards Gold Honoree in the Live Events category.
In February 2020, Ms. Andersson traveled to Riga, Latvia with composer Lolita Ritmanis and engineer Mark Mattson to record the entire soundtrack. This seventy-five piece orchestra included distinguished musicians from Latvia Symphony Orchestra, Latvia National Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Liepaja Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Riga, Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music and Perpetuum Ritmico.
This CD is packaged in Digipak packaging.

That last title sure is intriguing and I look forward to hearing sound clips. Dern, Kouneva, and Ritmanis are all superb composers, though I'm completely unfamiliar with the other ones.
