Great movie, I enjoyed the score in the context of the movie a lot and just ordered the Music Box release; it will by my first release of the score.

Honestly, don't we have enough problems going on in the world ? As a collector of film music for well over forty years, who honestly cares a toss what the politics are in producing magical music for all us soundtrack collectors out there.
It seems to me that music should bring us all together on a global basis and when ever there is a negative attitude between record labels, then perhaps we should all take a second and think what on earth would maestro Delerue think of all this.
I have had the Kritzerland CD for years and for those collectors who missed out on that pressing, surely must welcome the new release of the Music Box version whether it has this or that or a different track listing, it's still a most brilliant score by GD and is most welcomed I'm sure in the digital format.

By the way, the Kritzerland CD contains lots of source music apparently not composed by Delerue without giving proper credit which is not that unusual with that particular label.

5) A couple of years later, another label reissued the music previously contained on the Kritzerland CD but omitting the repetitive nature of the former edition. That's the one also easily available for downloads.

6) Music box revisits the title in 2022. Thank god.

You know, it frickin' amazes me the ease with which people on this forum bash the very people who create the content we care about, usually having not an iota of a clue what it takes to produce a record.

Just stop it. You're not heroes for blathering on with your tappety-tapping on the keyboard; you're just sad. Use the brains you were given and discuss without being d*cks about it.

Bruce, I remember baaarely being able to get a copy of your release of this back in the day, and being utterly delighted at the presentation and its availability once I did get it. This new release would not happen without the amazing work you did, and honestly it blows my mind that labels can use the masters you paid to have done without at least giving some credit to you and James and the Kritzerland label. But still, know that many of us are aware and please keep on keeping on.

You didn't even read Laurent's statement?
