I have no experience with "playback discs" or unlicensed releases. What can we expect from the audio quality?

Could be very good. The FOX sets sets also from playback were generally excellent considering the sources.

Many years ago, a different label had a release of playback discs, parital of Holiday inn and a nearly complete Blue Skies.
