Yes it’s really about a quarter hour of *new* score (including a few cues that were not used in the film and therefore weren’t on the DVD isolated score track), plus a couple Notre Dame choral source cues. Still a worthy expansion! Yavar

Releasing digitally same day? That’s a first for Deluxes isn’t it?
Nope. Iron Giant was the exact same way, also for sale on iTunes NZ ahead of Varese's own announcement. Back in 2015, Back to the Future 3 had a same day digital release as well. I'm sure there have been plenty of others as well.

I went to their website (not Facebook; I don't use Facebook) and there was no website there.

Of all the Goldsmith expansions in recent years, this one seemed longest in coming. Since this is more of a breakout score, reaching beyond film score collectors. I remember giving my father-in-law a DVD set that had the OST as a bonus disc. Because this one seems like it might be a bigger seller than most, I expected them to get it out and make some extra dosh a long time ago. I wonder if there were particularly thorny issues to work out. Anyway, it's here now, and great to have across digital and CD formats.

True. And I will probably prefer the original album in the long run, because it already has enough instances of the main theme for me. (Though always enjoy the extra tracks.) But an expansion can get people to double dip (like us!) as well as reach new, so always worthwhile with big enough sellers. Like the extra albums for Braveheart and Titanic, and the first expansion of Dances with Wolves 20ish years ago, just a few years after the movie was released.
