Yeah. I'm sure someone in their 20s doesn't want to buy a CD-R and outlive it wink

But for those of us in our late 40s/50s and 60s, we've nothing to worry about.

And what with all these threads/posts about more recent Intrada pressed CD's starting to die, it's all a bit of a lottery anyway.

Btw, are these shipping from Italy?
The shipping costs are rather expensive with only 1-CD order... so I'll probably have to wait until there is more to get a larger batch... or perhaps wait if that one VERY special album from 2022's french (mini)series is coming any time soon wink

***************

UPDATE: OK... is seems that the shipping costs were reduced considerably since I tried to go through checkout with the 1st album and now it show less than 7 EUR for 2 CDs... (initially it was more than double for 1CD - unless I did something wrong back then) so all fine... but still curious where are these shipping from, just to be sure... smile

So glad to see Moviescore Media back in the cd business (although I appreciated the Quartet MSM soundtracks). Good luck with effort and thanks for thinking about us collectors who prefer physical products.

I think it’s all malarkey, I’ve burned hundreds of CD-R’s over the last 20 years and not one has pooped on me. As you said, there seems to be plenty of manufactured CD’s who’ve gone bad.

Thanks a lot for these wishes! Will definitely keep these in mind as we begin to take the big dive into our back catalogue.

In answer to your question about shipping, CDs are shipped from Italy!

Yeah. I'm sure someone in their 20s doesn't want to buy a CD-R and outlive it wink

Our manufacturer claims that the expected longevity of their CD-Rs is 50 years.

Thank you! To be clear, some of our titles will still be released by Quartet (or other labels), but at the very least they will be available on CD on demand!

And is it possible that some older releases will be on CD too?
For example, you did first 3 Department Q scores on CD, but forth one is sadly digital only frown

Already answered, wasn't it?

Anyway, it would be interesting if more people posted their wishlists...
I am sure that we may overlap with some titles, but it would be interesting also as recommendation when it comes to vast MSM back catalogue. I am sure I missed some scores that others may have at the top of their wishlists.

Anyway, i am very curious what might be coming next when it comes to releases both new and revisited older releases on CDs...

(and first 3 releases ordered...) smile

first three releases are also available from both SAE and Music Box now.

Yes, we will be looking into releasing back catalogue titles previously available in digital format only. We will listen to our fans to determine which ones we will be doing as it would most likely be impossible to do all of them. Watch out for more news on this in the near future!

New arrivals... smile
Now this is what something professionally produced is supposed to look like.
Clearly a lot of effort went into making these look as good as possible and making sure that everything fits as it is supposed to - unlike MANY similar on demand releases from "other" labels.
Do not hesitate if you haven't ordered yours yet.
Anyone else got his copies?

I only ordered Rangers of the Lost Ring and it surely looks like a professional CD. Also, the music is very good! smile

I am very curious to finally listen to new Panu Aaltio CD... since I haven't heard any of it...
Mosley is also a very lovely score - symphonic and thematic... so worth checking out...

And Pessi Levanto was a very pleasant revelation with his one CD from MSM/Kronos a couple of years ago.. so I suppose this one won't disappoint either...

I am curious what might be coming out soon... at least new Eshkeri's score coming next week is another must-have.
