Don't get this cd. Trust me I'm going to buy this, flip it and use the profits to buy LLL's superior, expanded version that you are clearly preparing *wink wink*
But The Second Disc had the tracklist 5 days ago and no one noticed
Danny Elfman, Summer School: Music from the Motion Picture (Rusted Wave/1984 Publishing RW-016/1984-013, 2023 - original film released 1987)
1. Driving Test 2. Animal Farm 3. Killer Rabbits 4. Shoop Wears Suit 5. Football Lesson 6. Peanut Butter 7. Denise’s Big Moment 8. Broken Fender 9. Study Montage 10. Class Goes Home / Sad Dog 11. Chainsaw’s Dream 12. I Failed 13. Tenure 14. Extra Credit A * 15. Extra Credit B *
All tracks previously unreleased. * not used in film
So it doesn't contain the Elfman song 'Happy'. While $12 is reasonable enough for what is pretty much an EP, the $20 postage makes it a joke for anyone outside USA.
An EVERYTHING release… Coming Soon from LLL??!! SWEET!!!!
Either way at only 500 copies, and a paltry $12, not much risk. Even if LLL does release the complete album It's not like we won't buy the superior LLL version as well in a heartbeat so not really sure why MV is discouraging people from getting this one.

$17 shipped in the US actually. Odds are there is no deluxe Super Edition coming out. I think MV was just 'good looking out'. I used some FU money on this, will post thoughts if no one else does next month. The two unheard bonus tracks were what got me. At least I'd imagine those will not sound bad?
I lived thru the Soundtrack Library cdr boot days, so....my ears have been in bad sound land before.
Wow!! It's $17 postage WITHIN the USA!!! That's crazy. Are postal rates that bad Stateside too?
Same bloody state this is coming from, yes.
The low number was another factor. And I love that damn movie. Wish someone would release the song album - 90% of it is great, only a couple duds (hello "Fabulous Thunderbirds"!)

AaacksuAlly lol! This is typical, expected first class shipping these days. You pay the same or more with any of the labels. I really doubt they'd go through all the production and call it "newly remastered" if it sounded like crap.
Conversely, you cross the ponders have tons of goodies via discogs I canna reach due to shipping. Average $30 US for an overseas single album shipping alone. Just painful....

True, I took the plunge just before I saw MVs discouragement. I happen the have the SONG CD, so this new disc was enticing. If the sound is decent enough, great… will definitely upgrade if LLL releases a superior version.
