I am so beyond thrilled for this release! This score is a delight for horror film score fans, and fans of Horner alike, and given I've already played the 'Rip Off Mob' game and learned to enjoy it for what it is, not for who it isn't, it's a real blessing to finally receive the score in package. I inherited the boot, and was always bummed when so many great cues weren't present. Thanks again to Intrada for polishing another gem for us.

Actually, the Goldsmith temp track apes aside, there is some seriously gorgeous and inventive music from James Horner to be had here. That Main Title is so lovely and wistful. This early years period from Horner (1980-1989) is still my favourite by him. His voice was so ready, but raw. I couldn't agree more! He showed he had real promise. Other than ripping off the OMEN chants, the score is a symphonic soundscape of themes both gorgeous and unsettling, with some great action cues, tender love variations, jarring dissonance and creepiness. And for a film of it's type, it was a truly epic win for the film. And the film sported a unique poster!

Obligatory Goldsmith joke: At least Horner scored a movie with Sharon Stone, before Goldsmith did... Maybe she had influence and asked Goldsmth for something that sounded like Horner. Now there's a thought

Yeah, the last movie of Maren Jenson and the first actual credited role (with dialog) for Sharon Stone. Very much looking forward to this score.

Yeah, the last movie of Maren Jenson and the first actual credited role (with dialog) for Sharon Stone. Very much looking forward to this score. It was also the last film featuring Susan Buckner (Patty Simcox in 'Grease) who'd been gaining speed in Hollywood around that time. She became a mother following the film and sadly never continued her blooming career. She was really talented and (I can speak from personal experience!) a fun person all around. She has some interesting stories from the set, such as recalling the day John Lennon was shot - they were filming and Wes became very somber and withdrawn, only to make sure the scenes were shot.
