Yes definetly the most "important "one of the five releases, along with TOPAZ in terms of music preservation. As much as I love all of the rest ( HOOK_SNEAKERS_ZORRO ) released, I own all of them and have to pass, cause I´m totally happy with the ones already out there.Nevertheless a great batch.
I found a find on da Toob! But as my links don't work (I had a very poor teacher, very poor indeed), you'll have to find it for yourselves - at YouTube - Moment to Moment - Rare Trailer!
Okay, it seems to have worked, but I never really understood how to get it full frontal. Is there a Mr Gurdy in the room?
That's the one, Earl, thanks. lacoq also posted the link, but I'm the winner because I got there first. I really hope that there's still enough interest in releases such as this. Might be an increasingly hard sell. Nobody's getting any younger. Anyway, top marks to LLL for this, in fact for the whole batch.
Count me in. Unreleased Mancini from his heyday, there's no hesitation whatsoever as far as I'm concerned. It is for sure one of the best releases of the year alongside Piero Piccioni's fascinating TRE FRATELLI (Quartet).
YouTube has the original movie trailer of Moment To Moment which also shows Mancini conducting the soundtrack score at the studio sessions! Real nice….
That featurette (not the actual trailer) was no doubt pirated from Kino Lorber’s recent Blu-ray. The music is considerably better than the film which frankly is risible.
Really enjoying this in the post-Christmas peace and quiet - a nice mix of thriller scoring and Mancini's source instrumental stylings - it works really well as a listening experience.
