Who's going to be the first to fix this travesty with a gorgeous custom cover? Spinmeister? steffromuk? raferjanders? Somebody please come to our rescue.... I guess worst comes to worst I'll just reuse the perfectly fine original Varese cover. Yavar

Sigh. ""adult" coloring book". Just one more indication that the West is in terminal decline, and we're nearing the drain ever faster. Just an FYI, from personal experience, "adult colouring books" -- something like this www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1480701440/5-coloring-pages-for-adults-and-teens-to -- can really help people with mental health issues, especially those suffering from severe anxiety, and can greatly help relieve stress. They can also help with improving your focus. -Erik- Good grief. Nothing a good calculus book couldn't help if focus is what you're looking for.

I wouldn't be surprised that was the cover art for the inevitable vinyl release and they ended up using it for the CD release also e.g. The Matrix: The Complete Edition, The Crow: The Deluxe Edition, and Mimic: The Deluxe Edition (reissue). They already put out a Serenity vinyl release in 2017 with a unique custom cover tailored to the format, and it’s way better than this silliness that makes Serenity look like King of the Hill or something: Yavar

The music itself is always the most important, but the cover truly disappoints me. A deluxe release deserves better cover art than this. If it’s a matter of rights, why didn’t they just use the title like they did with THE ABYSS?can someone confirm it is $29 or $39 Varèse was 39 Screen Archives 29 ????

I just had an epiphany about the covers. Since no one can walk into a store anymore and purchase Varese titles, they can put anything on the front! Those who will buy....will. If I saw this in a store I wouldn't even look at what it was (except the Varese logo in the corner - I do like that it's made a comeback). The music is the thing, and I never care about bad cover art but damn....literally makes me wince to look at.

Varese offers no at cost deals to outside carriers, so....buy from anyone but them, it will be $5 more. At least the shipping aspect (like, you'll get your copy!) is better if buying through SAE, MovieMusic.com or Intrada.

Jacket art is lame (purely subjective), but that wouldn't give me any pause in ordering something I was interested in. What would is not getting an inkling of the music or the mastering. VS makes it simple. No samples, no ordering.
