Apart from the Prologue/Main Title and a few other cues, I don't really like this score. God dammit, I'm going to buy this again. There's something broken in my head. If I tried to explain this to a therapist, I'd probably end up on a 5150, or whatever they call it here in AZ.

LOL! I'm the other way around. I really like this score, it's great. But I'm pretty sure I'm not going to buy it again. It's great that it's re-released though.

It's a good time for me to listen to this score again. I have the last 3-CD set, but I haven't had the opportunity to listen to it with all the attention required. So, it will be on my playlist this week...

They should offer a Deposit/Returns Policy, wherein you can trade-back the earlier edition(s) and get $$ off to grab the latest upgrade wink

I never felt the need to upgrade my 1988 version. I might do it if the sound really is that much better and a download is available again at a reasonable price.

I’ve never had an Inchon to listen to this score. Maybe I’ll see if I can find it on YouTube.

That may be a currency in Fallout, but Intrada will be expecting something more real. smile

I have already exceeded my Inchon budget.

(also said by the film's producers)

This service exists. It's called eBay.

Bottlecaps.

Okay, I’ll bite. How so?

The score’s out of print. No one who owns a previous edition is being forced to buy another one, we just have that option.

I thought you cared about the best sound quality possible, Thor… since Intrada had a chance to put out a release with better sound for a title that’s been out of print over three years, do you not think they should do it? I agree that maybe they should have waited another year or two from a sales standpoint.

Perhaps the plan is to issue a few more rereleases which will create an interdimensional vortex that allows Roger to reach in and acquire Goldsmith's complete score to Judge Dredd. I hope he knows about the Bottlecapper, the beast that lurks beyond which is part Bunyip and part scalper...

I'm all for this re-re-re-re-release as long as it gives them the funds to finally release the last two Tinker Bell scores on CD!

Not interested in this one, cause own it.
But hoping for a re-re-re-re-release of:

THE SHADOW
EXPLORERS
TWO DAYS IN THE VALLEY
and THE RIVER WILD.

Impossible to find under 40 Euros here in Europe.

A fifth INCHON release? No kidding. I first thaught it was a very early 2024 April Fool's joke.

At least they could offer a brand new or alternate artwork for this new CD presentation...

Because the Jerry Goldsmith completist I am is not so pleased to rebuy (and pay again for) this music for the 5th time just for a said once more time improved sound.

As usual, it is great for the one who has no INCHON album yet, not so good for the other one who already spent a lot of bucks into INCHON over 3 decades, including that 3 CD set which was supposed to be definitive release if any.

There are so much other scores by great composers to premiere release....that it is a little sad to stay always with the same things, how any good they are...as INCHON.

It does seem to be a bit much, doesn't it?

Indeed. Lest it be forgotten, some of us bought this when it originally came out on the Regency LP.

A rerecording would have been an interesting option.

I think it’s great INCHON, which is a terrific film score, is released again, and it’s also great there is a drive to improve with each release. No one is forced to re-buy it again for potential or marginal sound improvements. But it's just great there are these releases.
