Easy: "The Leaving / The Search" from CONAN. Probably my #1 favorite score cue ever. Sublimely beautiful and transcendent. Basil was a gift to us all.

The Attack from Quigley
Riders of Doom from Conan

Main theme from Lonesome Dove
Robocop's main theme

I was going to post this exact same thing. Easy choice.

Column of Sadness / Wheel of Pain is the easy choice for me, it has likewise long been my favourite cue from any composer.

I have to give shout-outs though, to two that haven't been mentioned yet - Crystal Palace / Chamber of Mirrors from Destroyer, and Home from Robocop.

It's a tie between rock shop from RoboCop and the Red Dawn main title

Lonesome Dove, Pt. 4 -I don't know the name of the cue, but it underscored a long montage scene in which Woodrow transports Gus' body back to Texas (actually it may have been called Captain Call's Journey as mentioned earlier by BrenKel). It made a lasting impact and I just knew that Basil was going to win the Emmy for that episode of the mini series (and he did). There's also some great music in Big Wednesday, especially the scoring of the surfing scenes and the military funeral.

Along with all the other wonderful mentions, I’d like to add Farewell Suite from Free Willy.

Something from NO MAN'S LAND (1987)

Something or Showtime?

Lots of great stuff here but for me it's hard to beat "Dead Air"/"Winning" from WIND, which are two cues but both part of the same extended finale sequence in the movie.

Any cue from Blue Lagoon.

Is "Recovery" that cue that backs the scene where Conan is left dying on a tree in the desert, and then he glimpses Gerry Lopez/Subotai in the far far distance running in and out of sand dunes coming to rescue him? The music is incredibly lovely and gives the scene a heartfelt resonance without words. When it blossoms into a full melody after halting and restarting every time Subotai appears, disappears, and reappears in the dunes, it is just gorgeous. If so, that's the one for me!

That's "Tree of Woe", which reuses the Theology/ Civiliation theme when Subotai re-appears. "Recovery" is the beautiful statement of the "Riddle of Steel" theme when Conan has his swordplay moment as he recuperates after nearly dying. Both are incredible cues!

"Murphy's Death" from RoboCop.

In fact, pretty much that whole score.

It must be from CONAN, his undiputable masterpiece.
I'll not say that other choices from different scores are bad - some very good tracks listed here - but they're wrong.

Then I'll go with "Battle Of The Mounds - Part I", the music for the scene with the Tulsa Doom riders approaching while Conan is praying is perfection - but any other choice from Conan is valid.

Don't ask me why. It has nothing to do with the film itself. It just hits me a certain way.
