For me, Sudden Death is a far more enjoyed score than The Fugitive.

And not every cue is needed

There's a solid 40min playlist I look forward to custom editing for myself when the CD comes.

Interesting observation, I wonder if Turbulence had some SD cues tracked into the Temp, cause I hear it.

Really grateful this was released as a DE!

I'm enjoying this, again, now. There's a credit on the back that I don't think I've seen before--
'+ suite assembled from individual film cues'.
They must be expecting a load of idiots buying this one. smile

Yeah, that's a crazy credit for sure. Obviously for the lawyers but... I mean, WTF. Assembled tracks have been common place on soundtrack albums for 50 years, if not longer.

This is even crazier than the "from the Motion Picture X" credit that seems to be tagged onto a lot of Main and End Title tracks lately, across numerous labels where, in the past, simply "Main Title" sufficed.

Anyone having a problem with this disc?

Specifically, the beginning of the Main Title.

I listened to the CD a few days ago and didn't notice any issues.

Really enjoying this expanded presentation, too. Sure, it's basically more of the same, but in this case (at least in my opinion), same is great! Sounds quality is excellent as well.

I'm having a problem also with the beginning. Making a weird sound.

Maybe only some copies, my Other by Goldsmith is a 1,000 times worse.

Does anyone hear distortion on track 20 Flamethrower / Looking for Bombs: 1:45 -1:48. If anything, 1:48 definitely doesn't sound like it's part of the cue. Perhaps, it's an export glitch?

Just got it today. Per my usual routine, immediately tried ripping to FLAC with EAC. First track, EAC immediately started error correcting.

This is my experience with practically every new pressing from Varese these days. Errors all over the place. Garbage.

I haven't had any issues like that with their releases (or any CD outside a few selected casdes over the years). I suspect your CD drive might be at fault here -- I've had a couple discs where changing the ripping drive fixed the error. I remember one disc where I had the same exact problem ripping over multiple copies but years later and a different drive it was fine.

It's not the drive. I have no issues at all with LLL or Intrada discs. It's always Varese. I also tried The Other which was in the same order. Errors again.

I can literally see imperfections in the data layer of the disc when I hold it up to the light.

Yes it could be the drive. The fact you have no issues with other labels is irrelevant. Did you even read my post?

Okay, I'll go buy a brand new drive based on your theory. Why are you even arguing with me on this when people have already mentioned problems with their copies in this very thread? Varese has a history of defective pressings.
