For me, the whole thing is tainted now, because I could pick some cues, but never know if he really wrote them or not. From learning he never wrote that tribal TV documentary thing (Millenium?) - Mancina did. Also, how come Badelt got credit for writing the Pirates/Caribbean theme, then never got a mention on the two sequels? It must be a nightmare trying to sort out the royalty cheques!! Anyway, my favourite tracks by him are the last one (two?-it segues) from Gladiator and the one were Simba talks to his father in the clouds from Lion King (This Land? - God, my memory's shit). Fantastic music, whoever wrote it Hans Zimmer wrote all the themes for Pirates Of The Caribbean. He was contractually obliged to only work on The Last Samurai, but he worked on Pirates Of The Caribbean anyway, and had Klaus Badelt be the main composer. It's very easy to find out who composes what on his scores. Read the CD booklet.

Another vote for "Part II" from PACIFIC HEIGHTS, especially the middle section. Runners-up: "Going To Mexico" from THELMA AND LOUISE "Light" from THE THIN RED LINE "9am Central Park" from GREEN CARD
