Cool so Diary is unlimited, Office Space is 1200 units... Predators is unlimited, and two other titles at comic con are 3,000 and 5,000 2-disc sets. What are the catalog numbers for all these? I'm guessing Elfman's Batman is not among the comic con titles, as that should fit on once disc. It should also be unlimited, as all re-use fees were paid for for the OST except for the small portion of missing music. I'm guessing HOOK (5,000) and Batman & Robin (3,000) Guessing is fun (if inaccurate, usuallly)! Well, there was that time I said I was going on vacation a few weeks ago and Scoresalot said Varese's single release was Star Trek... maybe we should be asking him what these mysterious releases are. At 5000, it's gotta be a good one!!

I read "world premiere." I believe by world premiere he meant that they will be sold exclusively at comic con until they are available for sale online on July 27th. Perhaps MV can clarify

WOW! I'm super excited MV. Thanks for the announcement. I know Comic Con is sold out, but who knows, I may drive out there to "stalk" you...lol. JK. But seriously, this will be some great stuff coming up.

I'm guessing "world premiere" means never before released in any official form. Scratch off Star Trek. I think we've had enough Star Trek for this year. No, I believe "world premiere" means that you can ONLY get it at comic con until it goes on the website July 27th. Perhaps MV can clarify Are there any scores left that have NEVER been released that would warrant 5,000 copies? AND are long enough to need 2 discs? I can't think of any.

It should also be unlimited, as all re-use fees were paid for for the OST except for the small portion of missing music. To the best of my understanding, that doesn't matter. If you do a release, you have to pay the reuse fees but if I am wrong please correct me. In any event, Elfman's Batman might warrent unlimited treatment but who knows. This is one that I am waiting for. And I hope when it comes out it has those big driving percussion overdubs from the Main Titles! False. Once the re-use fees are paid, they are paid. That's why FSM was able to make Star Trek 2 and Star Trek 3 unlimited - they only had to pay the re-use fees for the music that hadn't been on the OSTs. And that's why other sure-fire huge sellers like ID4, BTTF, and Star Trek: The Deluxe Edition had to be limited, because none of our small labels could ever afford to pay the all the re-use fees to do so without going broke.

Nobody would be crazy enough to put a limit on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I think. Yavar

Judge Dredd was I think originally scheduled for March of this year but I could see it being an ideal release to coincide with Comic Con. MV recently said on this board that there are no more Silvestris coming out in 2010. What is your source for the Judge Dredd info?

Nobody would be crazy enough to put a limit on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I think. Yavar Labels do not put limits on their releases because they want to. They do them because the American Federation Of Musicians charges an insane amount of money to allow music recorded with their musicians to be released on a CD that is sold at unlimited copies. So they cut a special deal with the label to allow the music to be released at a reduced cost if the label only prints 1000, 1200, 3000, whatever they agree to copies.
