Advance notice is great. It also allows us to spread the word to people who don't follow FSM's message boards.

I can finally retire my home made ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS CDR with all of Mona's squeaking. Ohma-Tiglan, Lukas BTW-how did you find the tapes for it? I had read they were lost/misplaced. It would be interesting to hear how you found it.

It would be interesting to hear how you found it. Don't believe everything you read. The Robinson Crusoe on Mars music scoring masters were at Paramount - the 35mm stereo mag masters were transferred some time ago for a 2" preservation project. But this is not the kind of thing that would have been made available to the DVD producers. Lukas

Homecoming was pre Waltons TV show so no theme from the show. Thank you! That's exactly what I was suspecting... : Something tells me Lukas found a way to put it in... or at least tried. After all, what WALTONS album could possibly be complete without it? Well, this one will have to be. No scoring masters survive for the Waltons series, sorry! Also, the Homecoming TV movie is owned by CBS while the Waltons series is owned by Warner Bros. (who acquired it in the Lorimar library). So we would not be able to do a CD with both projects -- not without a lot of headaches. But given that there are no Waltons masters... well check out my favorite SNL skit as a kid: http://72.167.34.137/question-is-moot.html Lukas

Thanks for the advance "warnings", Lukas! I had decided that my collection was complete and that I could exist for the rest of my life on what I have, but I've changed my mind and will get ROBINSON CRUSUE ON MARS. By the way, my memory isn't very good now, certainly not regarding things I've learned in the last 20 years, but did Fred Steiner work on this score along with Van Cleave?

I'm REALLY looking forward to Rascals and Robbers! Goldsmith and Horner on one CD. It's the closest I'll get to seeing my fantasy album from age 10 of music by Williams, Goldsmith and Horner. LOL
