Obsessive-compusion? The polar opposite of Obession-compulsive, if I'm not mistaken. (And, oh, yes! For those who think they have an "ah-HAH!" moment, the "s" after the "b" in "Obession" was deliberately omitted to create the polar opposite effect).

To me, my Grails have changed over time. My one Holy Grail was the Great Escape. But I have had others (of less holiness?) that I have referred to as Grails without the Holy qualifier over the years that have since been "found". Examples are many but include expanded/complete Dirty Dozen, Devil's Brigade, None But the Brave, Kelly's Heroes, Magnificent Seven, Bridge at Remagen, Bite the Bullet, First Blood, Capricorn One, Twilight's Last Gleaming, Sand Pebbles, Flight of the Phoenix, Too Late the Hero, Bandolero, Planet of the Apes, Wild Bunch, Killer Elite, The Getaway, Strawdogs, Dirty Harry, Never So Few, Swarm, Lawrence of Arabia, Spartacus, and a few others that escape me. Although there are some that I still covet (more complete versions of Phoenix and The Cowboys for example) I don't think I have any actual Grails any longer. Is this a good thing? I don't know. It's certainly not a bad thing.

What make a holy grail a holy grail? Wanting it and not having it. (And it having been like that a long time.) That's my definition. Cheers

The Holy Grail is a mythical sacred object figuring in literature and certain Christian traditions, most often identified with the dish, plate, or cup used by Jesus at the Last Supper and said to possess miraculous powers. But whatever you do, don't drink from the wrong one!
