I'm pleased to see this available again as I am a big fan of the film, and I missed out on getting the cd the first time around. I can only imagine what other treats await us as we countdown to the final FSM cds which will take us into 2012. Great release!
I saw this at work, and gasped out loud....glad no one seemed to hear....I think.....
This was, amazingly, the first Morricone album I ever bought, and I love the hell out of it. Started me on a path of destruction that continues to this day PERFECT timing too, this is a rainy day record to beat all, very gloomy and moody business for a gray movie.
now i have three scores from Polanski films - and none of them be CHINA - TOWN
You never know Mr. Marshall - what if Chinatown is one of the final FSM cd releases? Man, everybody will be celebrating if that happens!
*sigh*
On a thread announcing the welcome release by FSM of a long OOP Morricone score, people already speculating about the next one and hoping it's a Goldsmith.
