The audience for Mollin's scores was limited enough even before the BuySoundtrax release. I doubt there are enough people willing to buy them all over again to warrant a definitive presentation. Heck, at least we have what we have now (which is way more than I thought we'd ever get)! Having said that... I would, without any hesitation, buy a complete version of Parts 7 & 8 (with or without the recycled Manfredini cues). If the original masters are lost, maybe they could combine Mollin's 2005 re-recording with the dubbing stems for the missing cues. None of Mollin's music from the final act [of Part VII] (Except for the end credits) is on it. From the point where Tina finds the bodies to the end. There are some small sounds and stings from earlier in the movie that might be missing as well. That is correct. As for Part VIII, the missing material begins with Sean and Rennie running down the subway escalator and goes to the end. I went through it myself with the film, but some stuff (like "Pearls Go Flying") does not match what is heard in the film, and other things I couldn't seem to identify anywhere.
