Weird that it's the song, that appears in six different versions on the 2016 soundtrack (and in the score) and is on a zillion cheapie Halloween compilations, is what's holding this up.

I've never really watched this myself before, except for recently my young nephew (who watches anything he finds) has started watching this on and off and I certainly noticed the music.
I would say it ranges from the quirky to the creepy in an interesting enough way. The music itself doesn't sound great in terms of the sound quality on the actual show. This is why I feel it could be interesting to listen to on an actual album release from hopefully a much better source, so count me in.
I for the most part really liked the music from the old 80s He-Man and ThunderCats shows and I never really watched He-Man either whilst getting into ThunderCats over the last decade for it's Anime inspired art style and I had to get the music for that, just for like GhostBusters, it's "killer" theme song.

Maybe rights issues...plus it's maybe too pricey...
Never seen the cartoon i have heard of it so i'm interested to know what music I've missed, nostalgia - not that bothered with the cartoon itself only for musical purposes, cool if it gets done.
I wonder if this can get the same treatment that the Star Trek Animated series got...
I brought this title up several times for a certain label to do, but sadly nothing came of my idea. I tried, I really did and I know this would sell good as there is a HUGE fan following.

Thanks for the effort though - really appreciated!
In my discussions with DHX Media here in Canada - I cold called their Music exploitation Exec out of the blue over year ago and they put me through to them. We had a good little chat about many of the DiC animated series including the scores to Sailor Moon, The Super Mario Bros Super Show/Zelda, and RGB.
Part of the difficulty she explained with RGB was its use of the Ray Parker theme in parts of the score. It's a difficult rights issue to work out.
Same goes for Sailor Moon - they were able to offer licences to the SeraSymphony to do some live performances, but to get the full USA score out was hard because of the elements it also used from the Japanese scores and the approval hurdles on the Japanese side with Toei.
I really wish it was easier for some of these to come out. I'm just gonna wait for Lukas Kendall to hit it big and to create an animated series soundtrack line.
Well, far, far bigger legal hurdles have been cleared by the labels, to comparatively speaking, this should be a cake walk to solve. Unless Slimer eats the cake during the walk.

Its in a handful of the cues. The rest dont quote the Parker Jr song at all really.
