I THOUGHT I heard some in "Harbinger Curve" in FSM's release of THE BIG BUS, but I the headphones here at the library ain't working so great.

Perhaps one of you lucky enough to own it can confirm or deny?

There's a teensy bit in the cue when Wolverine leaves the apartment building with the rabbit's foot keys, in X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

"Shaft" - 'nuff said

Uh, "Son of Shaft" would like a word --

The Bar-Kays - "Son Of Shaft" (1972)

Just talkin' 'bout Shaft.

Don't think it's from a film score though.

Thanks David! Jeez, how did I miss this thread?!?

Lest we forget George's song, notable for the triple-header - title, effect and content!

I still think it's groovy! But like so many musical innovations of its day, it was overused and faded away.

So that's what Goldsmith used for his end credits music for 'Runaway' at the 2:25 and 3:32 marks:

St. Ives! We could have a whole thread of solely Lalo chocka-wocka, I think...

I asked to license this from WB, there was some rights problem with the movie, drat!

There is wah-wah, wack-wacka in some of Nick Carras' music for THE DOLL SQUAD. Not sure if I included any of it in the listening sample "suite" on this page... It's a fun, early 1970s action score.

Multiple soundtrack producers!

It's getting to be like "Into the Night"!

That's the movie where a zillion movie directors did cameos.
