Hi...I am looking for the Easy piano Selection book from THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM published by Hansen. t had a yellow, cover and had lots of photos inside. Any leads would be appreciated!
Looks like Sheet Music Man is burning off all remaining sheet music for composers whose names end in A through H. Does that mean that there is no sheet music for the following composers?
Jeff Alexander Angelo Badalamenti Buddy Baker Richard Band Irving Berlin Leslie Bricusse Robert F. Brunner Roy Budd Ralph Burns Artie Butler David Buttolph John Cameron Hoagy Carmichael Gary Chang Jay Chattaway Nathan van Cleave George S. Clinton Robert Cobert Michael Colombier Michael Convertino Ry Cooder Aaron Copland Frank Cordell Alexander Courage Mike Curb Hoyt S. Curtin Mychael Danna Mason Daring Barry de Vorzon John Debney Adolph Deutsch Pino Donaggio Brian Easdale Clint Eastwood Duke Ellington Don Ellis Ray Evans Robert Farnon Allyn Ferguson Brad Fiedel David Michael Frank Christopher Franke Benjamin Frankel Serge Gainsbourg Douglas Gamley George Gershwin Michael Giacchino Richard Gibbs Hershel Burke Gilbert Albert Glasser Nick Glennie-Smith William Goldstein Miles Goodman Morton Gould Barry Gray Harry Gregson-Williams Christopher Gunning Jan Hammer Herbie Hancock Richard Hartley Jimmy Haskell Harley Hatcher Lennie Hayton Richard Hazard Victor Herbert Joe Hisaishi David Hirschfelder Arthur Honegger Alan Howath Dick Hyman
There are still upcoming posts for a number of these composers including:
Angelo Badalamenti Irving Berlin Leslie Bricusse Roy Budd Ry Cooder Aaron Copland Frank Cordell Alexander Courage Mike Curb Hoyt S. Curtin Mychael Danna John Debney Adolph Deutsch Pino Donaggio Clint Eastwood Duke Ellington Don Ellis Ray Evans Robert Farnon Benjamin Frankel George Gershwin Michael Giacchino Hershel Burke Gilbert Nick Glennie-Smith Morton Gould Harry Gregson-Williams Christopher Gunning Jimmy Haskell
This is definitely the way to do this, the listing with links that is. Please do this rather than creating individual threads with graphics for each composer in the future.
RobPrince, Have yet to locate the full music book you requested, but here is the cover of the British Edition of the Theme from THE WONDERFUL THE WORLD OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM.
Also, Now that the sheet music has been unearthed for so many unusual film scores and songs, we have decided to bring in a professional pianist and a few vocalists to plow through the pile and play through a bunch of them.
AND WE WANT YOU TO PICK THE PLAYLIST!
Over the next few weeks look over the sheet music posted by Sheetmusicman and post to this thread https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=97750&forumID=1&archive=0 which titles you would like performed. Want to hear the vocal version of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE? Let us know. Want to hear the piano solo of RUNAWAY? Now's your chance.
We will be recording and filming as many pieces as we can and then post them on YouTube in the next month or so.
Any Roy Webb sheet music available? I remember seeing the piano score for Sinbad the Sailor in Christopher Palmer's book, The Composer in Hollywood...but I doubt that was ever commercially available. Anyway, I'd be hugely interested in any Roy Webb sheet music that exists...automatically add that to the playlist, please!
Unfortunately, no Barry Gray, Hans Salter, James Bernard, Albert Glasser, Roy Webb or John Scott in the collection. Does anyone have anything from these fine composers?
