If I may add a few more picks...

David Arnold's Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Charles Bernstein's Kate McShane
Patrick Doyle's Dead Again Suite
Jack Elliot's Oh God
Kenyon Hopkin's Wild River and Ballad of the Cowboy Sailor
Jerome Moross's Proud Rebel (I'm guessing Golden Apple would be too big a project?)
Ernest Gold's Wallenberg Love Theme
Preisner's Fairy Tale
Shearmur's Wings of the Dove

And in celebration of its new release, how about Cliff Eidelman's Crazy People?

If we can get around to them, we will try to do some of the more popular titles like Baby Elephant Walk, Moon River, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Rocky, Born Free, Beauty and the Beast, Somewhere That's Green, and Someday My Prince Will Come. Will put these on the "back-up" list as there are probably other versions of these available and we would like to prioritize stuff that doesn't exist or barely exists elsewhere. With that said, it would be great to hear nice piano versions of all of those.

Thanks to everyone for all these suggestions. Please keep 'em comin'

Good idea of making versions that aren't already out like for me I tried to find tunes that I couldn't remember piano versions out there. Keep up the good work can't wait to see the finished projects. A CD would be HEAVEN by the way or a couple of them smile

Peter,

Like the idea of a CD or series of them.

However for this, we want to keep it fast, loose, fun and free.

Since we'll probably never witness any soundtrack albums from Columbia Pictures studios during George Duning's tenure there, I suggest there should be at least one selection written by Duning - and I nominate his 1960 music for ...

STRANGERS WHEN WE MEET lyrics by Richard Quine
Note: British Edition

... since the London Records' LPs of THE LION and NINE HOURS TO RAMA were formerly amongst the rarest and priciest soundtracks prior to the CD era, I would like one of them to be represented on a re-recording if only to create awareness of a non-blockbuster movie scored by an Arnold who is not named David! smile

Please consider Malcolm Arnold's 1962 THE LION (Theme)

Thanks. smile

Regarding some Golden Age Dimitri Tiomkin, I think "Angelillo" would appreciate HAJJI BABA...

... whilst "Basil Wrathbone" wouldn't reject some O.K. Corral:

ToneRow, I didn't know you were my agent !

Very good choice indeed because it doesn't feature the Dimitri Tiomkin Anthology Piano Book I have (and so, I can't play it !)

It might be fun to include Dimitri Tiomkin’s THE ADVENTURES OF HAJJI BABA and GUNFIGHT AT THE O.K. CORRAL as well as Lalo Schifrin’s JOY HOUSE.

Reminder, one week to go. Last day for requests is August 15.
