It's weird that this hasn't popped up at third party retailers. I was going to hold off until then but it doesn't seem like that will happen and I don't want to risk this going out of print. Ordered.
Me too! I was waiting for this to hit third party retailers. Odd it's only available straight from DME.
Sorry don't mean to get people excited by bumping this thread. No news on another release yet. But I was just wondering what might come next? Its about time for another release.
Being they just re-mastered The Sword and the Stone for Blu Ray this would make sense to me. Especially since they did Robin Hood a few years back and that was a premier release.
Also if you want the previous releases you better get whats left while you can. It appears these are quietly going out of print. I know I missed a few titles.

The Sword in the Stone Blu-ray was actually done over a decade ago (and poorly at that), and the recent DMC Blu-ray seems to just be a reissue of that, though a 4K remaster was done for the launch of Disney Plus which wipes the floor with the Blu-ray transfer.
As for what could possibly come next in the Legacy Collection other than SITS, Mulan would seem an obvious choice given they seem to be prioritizing the Renaissance films. Though we could maybe get that Rescuers release that was rumored years ago, or just maybe Fox and the Hound, even though neither of those titles have anniversaries this year.
Also, thanks for the heads up on these titles going OOP. I finally got around to getting Pocahontas a few months ago and will have to get Beauty and the Beast before that goes OOP.
