Mine magically delivered today (no e-mail)

Their cardboard paper mailers are just awful!

Raggedy Man case was cracked

Robocop 2 was fine

Dracula John Williams 2 disc the front slip cover is dented in.

All future Varese Sarabande orders will be done with another distributor.

Will not order from them again, until they get their shipping issues corrected and start shipping their collectible CDs in protective boxes.

Same as, 'Order Unfulfilled' for Raggedy man. Ordered on March 16th. The situation has gone beyond a joke now.
It would be nice even to receive an E Mail confirming a shipping date. Hopefully will receive it for Christmas.

One day short of a month later I received the CDs without prior notification of shipment. In fact my order still shows unfulfilled on the web site. The CDs arrived in the same flimsy packaging but luckily the cases were undamaged.
Anyway I decided to have some fun and make my first crudely made unboxing video!

Meanwhile, I just received my extra copy all the way from Europe. Go figure.

I got my Raggedy Man today, but instead of flimsy packaging it was securely wrapped inside a stainless steel mixing bowl.

Still nothing from MovieMusic. Assuming they are waiting for the shipment as well. Pretty shitty handling from Varese. I wonder if this will put a noticeable dent in their direct orders?

They hell of it is, Varese gouges you either way...you order direct from them, you get the slowest, most flimsy shipping possible. You order from anyone else, and they tack a ridiculous additional $5 onto each CD (which NO OTHER soundtrack label does).

Yep, the shipping date keeps getting delayed. I wonder why it's taking a while for the shipment to arrive there. If I had known it would take this long to arrive I'd had ordered RoboCop 2 later this month or in May.

The latest update from Varese:

Greetings valued Varese Sarabande customer. A series of unfortunate events, including the closure of the last major CD manufacturing plant in the United States, has adversely affected the production and receipt of the remaining quantities of Robocop 2. We are currently in the process of making other arrangements and expect to ship your order around the 20th of May. Due to this inconvenience, we are refunding the purchase price of the CD to your method of payment. If you wish to cancel your order completely to receive a full refund of both the purchase price and shipping costs, you may do so within your account at VareseSarabande.com. Our sincerest apologies.

When did you order your copy of RoboCop 2? I ordered mine just when they announced Knight Rider... let's hope they both arrive soon...

Correct! On the other hand, I have received all my Club titles, including a copy of Raggedy Man (from France, no less), so I reckon that the extra cash was well worth it.

"...the closure of the last major CD manufacturing plant in the United States,"

That's so sad to hear.

And in time, this very issue is going to be the major stumbling block to getting news releases, even moreso than licensing and other concerns.
