I'm STILL waiting for an affordable physical copy here in the UK. Amazon dropped the ball on this one with their emphasis on streaming and downloads. It's almost like they don't want my money.
Unless they come good with some uber-boxset, but I won't be holding my breath.
The CD, for non-USA customers, is just a little bit more expensive than buying a CD from La-La-Land, Intrada or Varése. And it is worth it.

It's an amazing CD but it was pricey: I paid 50 pounds for it (incl. shipping) but it's worth every penny IMHO. Still cheaper than the prices Amazon UK is offering. It really is a shame that the CD isn't readily available in the UK/Europe but I suppose we should just be happy that there's a physical CD at all!
It would be great if the 8 episode-specific scores that were released on streaming services got a nice 8CD box release! I love the 2CD suites release, but would love a physical version of the full scores for each episode.
I wonder what will happen when Mondo sell out all their CD copies of this title? Will Amazon be free to press their own copies of it...or will they move ahead with a Full Score Box Set of the individual episodes...or license them out again to someone else...or do Absolutely Nothing, as any takings are probably a pittance to their multi-million pound machine and not worth the effort.
Great question. If I remember correctly, Mr McCreary said, after individual digital released cames, that fans of physical releases should wait for further news (and that was AFTER 2-cd set was announced and released)...
Every bit as good as the Howard Shore original trilogy scores. The quality of themes is very high. Personally speaking, I enjoy these maybe a little bit more.

Yes Day, there is repetition on some of the cues from the first 2 disc edition, although that release also had special concert style versions of the themes. But the 8 individual episode discs all run roughly around 1 hour in length and feature a wealth of development and new material. And the book is quite lovely too.
