Is TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA still slated for this summer?

Seriously? MV posted two comments above yours, and the first line was: To be perfectly honest with you I have no idea when anything is coming out any more.

Like I said, more annoying than LUDLUMIZATION
wink

Oh, and someone asked the EXACT SAME QUESTION FIVE POSTS ABOVE ( IF I didn't know him better, one might conclude Cody was being sarcastic)
Lol!

Dear MV. I really appreciate the candid update. I've sensed that things have been chaotic behind the scenes and that it must be quite disheartening during this time of flux.

Stay the good fight...if you choose to. I'm certainly grateful for you, Matt and everyone involved getting La La Land to 500 titles.

We've all been spoiled rotten over the years!

Some 6 posts back MV mentioned problems with Sony and WEA. He did not mention Universal. It so happens that I am truly interested in purchasing TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA. No sarcasm was intended in my earlier post. However, if a third mule is put on that recording by the name of Mr. Marshall , all bets are off.

Nice to see you appreciate " a real composer" who writes " real music" like Ennio!

As others have already stated, so sorry for what you guys are having to put up with, MV. You guys are my heroes. You've given me stuff I couldn't have even dreamed of when I was a kid. We're behind you 100%. smile

There are many beautiful compositions by Ennio Morricone like THE MISSION and there are others that are experimental and atonal in nature that leave me cold. That doesn't diminish his talent in my mind. TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA is not a score like THE MISSION, but its unusual sound is very different and intriguing. I will definitely buy it.

I will be buying it also, even though I have it on an import cd!

I like his scores for Clint Eastwood's mid 60's spaghetti westerns. They were inventive and fun. However, the one's that I love the most harken back to the works Victor Young, Dimitri Tiomkin, Max Steiner and Alfred Newman. SHANE being number 1 followed by RED RIVER number 2. Coincidentally, they are also my 2 favorite western films. Our differences are along generational lines. You know it and I know it. When you reach my age , if movie scores are still in vogue, you will probably say what's that noise they are playing. If I were to put a bumper sticker on my car that said RAP IS CRAP, it wouldn't take very long for my windshield to be smash. We agree to disagree with understanding...I hope.

I guess these are trying times with CD plants closing and corporate mergers. What can I say but, all the best to MV and LLL. Hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hang in there, MV. I'm trusting things will get better soon. I too have sensed change (it seemed to happen scary fast) but we humans are a resilient bunch.

How about a Kickstarter campaign.tcampaign.to.bcampaign.to.build our own pressing plant!

As for UME we are waiting for business affairs to get licenses in order so that's the hold up with the 10 titles we have brewing there right now.

No Bond until later next year (hopefully) ...the new film is the top priority now for all involved.

That's a bummer. Still, I'm glad you guys managed to crank out two beforehand. And I will certainly remain hopeful for next year!

Very sorry to hear this year has been messed up on so many levels... hopefully you have enough stock to keep orders coming in and you can survive until the situation changes...

The Orville S1 LP sounds tempting smile

Wait, we can either get new movies or old scores? That's a devil's bargain!
