I have no wishes for the big November releases from LLL other than to thank MV and his many workers for what they do to make the magic happen.

Any hints as to what this year's Black Friday titles will be? Or is it too early?


MV said they don't do hints anymore - but if you scroll back through the pages of the last few weeks you might see something that qualifies as one.

Could you give another hint about the hint?

Very surprised this morning to see an email notifying only 15 Star Trek TMP left. Instantly, I went over to the site to add to cart with Bride of Frankenstein only to receive this message at the check out:

"The inventory level for the following product is below what you ordered, so we could not proceed with the checkout: STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE: LIMITED EDITION (3-CD SET)"

Oh well, I guess I just have to be content with the 1999 release (sigh)

It looks like I ordered 1941 just under the wire. I sat on the fence too long when it was originally released and then it was gone. I am glad that I was given this second chance to right my wrongs.

Also, it would be a good tie in with the director's edition coming out.

I just paid £75 for it last month on eBay.

Secondly, in a Midwestern state like IL, how long into the Fall season should I stop mowing my lawn? Also, do I mow the dandelions or do I let them grow?

Dandelions are editable. Let them grow, pick them then make a salad. YUM!
