I want to thank Stephen for hosting this wonderful get-together and everyone who welcomed me tonight. Your stories were wonderful and so impressive. The depth of the experiences shared by everyone was amazing. Thank you again everyone. You were a great group. smile

My apologies, gents and ladies. A day that should have been calm and quiet turned out to be a very hectic shite-storm.

Well said Edw, and good to "meet" you. Yes, well done once again Stephen.

By the way, Henry, did you get my email last week?

Thanks Bill. Likewise. smile

After we all left, I thought about what concert I would LOVE to see. I think it would be Lee Holdridge conducting his "In Search of Peace" score. That would thrill me.

Hey Henry, did Marshall attend with you the FSM get-together in 2009? He looked familiar to me.

And edw, thank you for bringing up Itzhak Perlman. When he did the Schindler's List solo this may have been the only time I've ever heard live the same performer on the soundtrack. Quite a milestone, in retrospect. This is the post-concert thread (I see cinemel was also in attendance)--

That was MY excuse! Sorry I missed it (Sundays aren't the best for me anyway due to family commitments). I hope to see you all at the next one.

Thank you everyone who came. I think this weekly Zoom is doing a lot for bringing this community of film music fans closer, and feeling like we know real people rather than just handles and avatars.

I'm really grateful for everyone who is coming and I'm really happy that people are liking it.

I want anyone who hasn't yet come but has been thinking about it, to know we're always happy to see new faces.

Cheers
