So it's nice to see it'll almost certainly hit the goal (the 48 hour push hasn't even started)....but it just occurred to me that the lack or any stretch goals could have been another factor in the lack of contributions.

Out of interest, can an orchestra make a contribution, if they think they will otherwise lose a lucrative project? Or is a named participant in the project not allowed to get involved?
I am confident that this project will reach its target. It’s running not so very differently to Tadlow’s KING OF KINGS project and it’s in the final week that most activity will take place.

As I said earlier, they knew this would get funded prior to the campaign.
I doubt it. I have seen many a project like this founder because of lack of interest. Up until the 2/3 point this Kickstarter absolutely behaved normally. And as I said way above I know many a Kickstarter that was ready to boost it's endgame, like this one, IF enough was involved in the pot. That 2/3 is the real accomplishment here. Congrats to everyone!
