All right, I'll ask about a couple of modern titles I like (by composers I usually don't) that would be timely...

first, is it confirmed that Varese controls Graeme Revell's Power Rangers score in perpetuity? This is clearly the best time to put out an expanded version, what with the new movie coming out.

Similarly there is a fourth DragonHeart apparently in production and it would be great if Randy Edelman's score could receive the complete treatment. Like many others, for me it was a gateway album into film music collecting, and I suspect an expanded version would have pretty great sales potential. What say you, MV? A possibility from LLL?

Great your taking the time for the fans here. Just wanted to ask about a few titles that often pop up.
Any chances of LOOKER or Stanley Myers THE WITCHES or DREAMCHILD?
Also as you did Komeda's ROSEMARYS BABY any chance at all of THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS?
And im not going to mention....ahhh!!...i can't not ....HIGHLANDER?
Thanks :-)

No chance of any of mine MV? .....Pretty please!

Lukas said some years ago that the tapes for Fearless Vampire Killers are lost.

Similarly, I am wondering if and hoping that an Avatar expansion is in the works with the three or four Avatar sequels Cameron is apparently shooting all at once.

Power Rangers is with Varese in perp.

Dragonheart is a possibility but we have other projects stacked in front of it first

Looker - possible
The Witches - possible
Dreamchild - never heard of it so most likely No
Fearless Vampire Killers - nope
Highlander - falls into Holy Grail territory and most likely never going to happen due to rights issues. An official release may be impossible

I know many would say that most of James Horner's Sony Classical albums were long enough, but there were quite a number of scores that would still benefit from an expansion:

THE PERFECT STORM
THE MISSING
THE MASK OF ZORRO
DEEP IMPACT
BICENTENNIAL MAN
JUMANJI (not Sony Classical, but Epic Soundtrax, part of Sony)

TITANIC is of course off the table (obviously) but are any of these possible or even just scores anyone would want expanded?

Hello MV.

First, I want to say how appreciative I am of the releases you have put out that are simply fantastic. My wallet shows the depths of my appreciation. Die Hard, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, the Star Trek TOS box, Lost In Space, Untouchables....the list goes on and on. Fantastic work.

I have a question that I have wanted answered for years. My "grail" score is 2010: The Year They make Contact. Have you looked at getting into the A&M vaults or is this project a no-go? I know that David Shire was quite unhappy with how his score was edited and changed for the film itself. Still, I would love to know if it was/is considered. Thank you.

Good to finally get an answer on this one after so many years - I'd always wondered! Thank you!

I thought BSX was going to release this a couple of years ago, or was it just digital, every think went quiet.

A damn shame though.
I'm wondering, would such issues also rule out a re-recording?

I want to say another label looked into this years ago but nothing was found.
