Listening again i am stunned by the incredible dynamic range.* For those who have the vinyl: Does the lp go from soft to LOUD#! without distortions or mistracking? Brm PS Shaun is eggxactly right. * you really need good speakers to hear it.

The piano music reminds one very much of Arvo Part's "Bells". The organ reminds one very much of KOYAANISQATSI. But DAMN, if what comes out of those inspirations isn't GREAT! BRM

BRM That's my "other" favorite Zimmer score. I really liked how it worked in the movie, too, even if the movie itself seemed about ten minutes too long. The organ stuff on there is seriously cool imo. Kind of a nod to the old school.

The score IS the movie which is mediocre.

They're saying it's Nolan's longest yet. I hope it has the plot to support itself but after Inception I'm not too optimistic. We'll see... ....your lack of optimism was well founded.

I am always confused that so many folks here don't like this score , DARK KNIGHT films or scores -or any Zimmer for that matter- BUT, are admirers of INCEPTION. A film and score that do nothing for me! Brm

"Day One Dark" was previously only available as a lossy download on movie-tickets.com for a limited time, so this is the first lossless release of that track There's still 14 cues that Warner Brothers put on the official FYC site that have never had a commercial release after 5 different album programs and counting 04 1M4 Combines Went Haywire (1:54) 05 1M5 Dust Storm (1:13) 09 3M9 Docking (1:28) 10 3M10 Entering Endurance (2:39) 11 3M11 Rage Against The Dying of The Light (0:57) 12 3M12 Down For The Long Nap (0:58) 13 3M13 Message From Home (1:46) 15 3M15 We're Here (0:42) 18 4M17 Years Of Messages (5:26) 20 5M19 Murph Comes Home (1:44) 22 5M21 Our World (3:56) 20 7M28 Eject (2:13) 31 7M29 Landing In Tesseract (4:41) 33 8M31 Quantifiable Connection (3:30) Even if you downloaded those when the FYC site was up, they were all lossy, and Quantifiable Connection was full of distortion

I’ve got some, shall we say, “sources who are familiar with the situation” who have told me that this is very similar to the previous 2-CD release but “Day One Dark” has been added and “No Time for Caution” has changed position. These sources are usually quite accurate. I’ll say no more!
