Another vote for the missing parts of DS9's "The Sacrifice of Angels"

DS9 score sorely missing is "Tears of the Prophets"

Voyager: "Dark Frontier", "Endgame", "Basics Part I", "Before and After", "Scorpion Parts I & II"

TNG: "Contagion"

ST III: Stealing the Enterprise *without* the cut insert between the beam out and the Enterprise turning on its lights. And the Grissom Genesis beamdown cue that is a few cues cut together, but I haven't been able to reproduce it properly.

Thanks Lucas for such a great opportunity, and all the Star Trek releases so far!

Here is my wish list, mostly Deep Space Nine.

DS9 The Jem'Hadar
37:50 - 42:32: Suicide run on the Odyssey

DS9 Sacrifice of Angels
11:57 - 13:50 : the Federation fleet engages the Dominion fleet
23:09 - 28:22 : Quark and Ziyal free Kira and Rom, Odo saves Kira and Rom
31:33 - 35:54 : Sisko faces the Prophets, pleads for their help
41:45 - 44:15 : DS9 retaken, Sisko and Dukat (Ds9 disc 3, track 13 ends just before this)

DS9 - Chimera
41:51 - 44:03 - Odo becomes light

DS9 - The Changing Face of Evil
32:05 - 33:12 - Buildup to Battle

DS9 - Tacking Into The Wind
18:53 - 20:17 - Kira and Rousset
23:53 - 25:09 - Cardassian Shuttle Rondezvous
27:51 - 31:31 - Cardassian Station/Prisoner
39:56 - 44:00 - Stealing the Jem'Hader Ship

The alternate/TV version of "The Way You Look Tonight" from the DS9 finale.

ENT: Anomoly
36:35 - 40:45 - Battle

I hope these make the final cut, as some of these cues have already been requested by others.

Regards, Darren

I'd love it if the ONE missing version of the "DEEP SPACE NINE" title theme would appear on album without the sound effects:

There was one totally unreleased version, the FIRST version of the revised season 4 title theme used for the season 4 premiere episode "The Way Of The Warrior". It was only heard in this one episode, and only in the complete 90 minute version not the syndicated 2-parter version.

It doesn't have the synth drums of the 'alternate' version on the LLL release (also previously released on the GNP 30th anniversary CD) but it does have this cool, James Horner-like synthesized bass line (think Apollo 13) and some cool cymbal hits that usher in each phrase of the theme.

That, and the six DS9 commercial bumpers. smile

ENTERPRISE:

2x12 The Catwalk ...
Music from the montage while the crew are getting the ship ready for the storm.
Music from the speech from Archer to the Crew before facing the storm.
All the music when Trip is sneaking around the ship and realizes the are being boarded by another ship.

3x02 Anomaly really needs music in cd ... The Battle music is a must !

Seconding a request by "Bad Atom" on TrekBBS for Jeri Ryan's vocals from "The Killing Game" and user "Tosk" for requesting Avery Brooks / James Darren's duet from "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang" smile

Wonderfull!

Would be nice if you could release the Anthem of the United Federation of Planets as heard in the DS9 episode "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" composed by David Bell.

Thanks for celebrating the 50th!

Hi Folks!

I am glad people were excited about La-La Land's 3CD Collection Vol 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Coming this spring/summer is the long-awaited 4CD Collection for Star Trek: Voyager...and then after that we have a "50th Anniversary" Star Trek collection that we're going to do a little differently...because we're TAKING REQUESTS!

This 50th Anniversary album (# of discs TBD) will have music from across the 50 years of the Star Trek franchise—including previously unreleased cues from TNG, DS9, VOY (beyond the upcoming album) and ENT.

This is not to say there may not be future volumes for DS9, ENT and the other shows, but for now, we are concentrating on this 50th Anniversary collection to present as much previously unreleased music as we can.

So...if you have favorite scores and/or cues, please list them here in this thread! Be as specific as you want from the episodes—give me Netflix timecode from the episodes and I will make sure to try to include the correct piece!

Let's see how this goes. Thanks!

Lukas

Lukas i thought you were out after fsm or this a case of godfather 2 "everytime i think im out they pull me back in."

All cues for DS 9 In the Pale Moonlight
More cues from DS9 dominion war episodes
ST TAS had to ask though highly improbable. Titles and three or four main themes would be good.
More cues ST TNG the wounded.

ENT 3x10 Similitude
the beautiful somewhat Harry Potter-esque music for the young Sim beginning at 12:37

ENT 1x12 Silent Enemy
the cue beginning at 39:12 that was also used for the DVD intro

ENT
the music used for the menu intro of the season 3 DVD set, don't know from which episode score it was taken

ENT 1x18 Rogue Planet
cues using Baillargeon's main theme for the episode

ENT 1x22 Vox Sola
the cues using the solo cello

VOY 5x07 Infinite Regress
the cue for Naomi Wildman following Seven in the corridor at 4:28

Even though the Original Series is already out and complete, it seems like a 50th anniversary set of the franchise would not be complete without something from the original series. Perhaps, as someone else suggested, the original opening with William Shatner's narration, but I think a couple of other suites would be appropriate as well. I'll leave it to others more knowledgeable than me to choose appropriate selections. Just my two cents....

Hats off to Wedge Antilles, Chriss and Daz for actually including the Netflix time codes as requested. That's the way to get the producers' attention, beyond just making a list of favorite cues and shows. Given how much work everyone has put into these releases behind the scenes, a little work on the part of fans is great to see.

(I don't have anything to add, I'm happy with whatever comes out. And also hats off to tnpir40 who provided DVD time codes.)

I have never watched ENTERPRISE, so I can't give much advice on that, and my memories of VOY are too hazy to remember the music, but here goes:

- The actual season one version of the TNG theme as used in the episodes, if at all possible.

- JUSTICE

- COMING OF AGE

- UNNATURAL SELECTION: When Riker and Worf go search Pulaski's quarters for a DNA sample. Contains a great variant of the Picard theme.

- THE DAUPHIN: Wesley saying goodbye to Salia.

- TIME SQUARED: That creepy cue when the crew show Picard the shuttle log recording of Enterprise's destruction

- THE VENGEANCE FACTOR: I vaguely recall some interesting action material when our characters meet the gatherers and get into a firefight with them.

- THE HUNTED: Some good action material here

- TRANSFIGURATIONS: The final cue

- CLUES: The opening music

- BIRTHRIGHT PART II: The Klingon song

- DARK PAGE: When Troi learns the truth about what happened, and Lwaxana wakes up.

- FIRSTBORN: Klingon festival source music

- EQUILIBRIUM: The Joran piano music

- MERIDIAN: Some good romantic material here

- SECOND SKIN

- The Klingon song from SOLDIERS OF THE EMPIRE, as well as the Klingon opera that Worf listens to in various episodes.

- EMPOK NOR

- SACRIFICE OF ANGELS: Additional cues.

- ONE LITTLE SHIP: The final action cue that was left off the DS9 set

- VALIANT: I vaguely recall some good battle preparation music when the crew of the titular ship get ready to fight the big dominion vessel.

- TEARS OF THE PROPHETS

- CHRYSALIS: Do Re Mi

- The Federation anthem from TAKE ME OUT TO THE HOLOSUITE.

- CHIMERA: Odo turns into light at the end

- BADDA-BING, BADDA-BANG

- THE VOID

- Various VOY Borg episode scores.

- The TWOK finale without Nimoy's narration.

I can kind of understand wanting the Original Series opening titles with Shatner's narration, but there's a 15-CD set featuring every note of music from the show.

The only major TNG cue I think I still want is from "Eye of the Beholder", Netflix time stamps: 38:20-41:38. It's Chattaway in full-on hysterical mode and a lot of fun.

From Enterprise:

"The Seventh" - 37:30ish-40:10ish.

"Azati Prime" - 38:00-41:55

"Chosen Realm" - 40:30-42:00

"Zero Hour" 15:10-20:00ish

The trailer music is exceedingly difficult to track down. I need help. If you want to ID that Encounter at Farpoint promo music, see if you can find it in the earliest KPM production music CDs:

https://search.apmmusic.com/#search/

Go to the KPM Music library, select "Release date-ascending" and check those early albums from the mid to late 1980s.

how seriously will a request be considered ?

Wonderful but does it means that the album could contain already released material? It would be a real pity because the most people who are interested in the new album likely will have those cues in their collection. It would be a waste of space. Especially when you think about this awesome and unique chance for the fans the get there most wanted cues released.

Never then less the approach for the new album is very much appreciated.

(I hope my English wasn’t to bad and every one could understand it wink )

This is a dream come true! Thank you so much for taking requests!

*First and foremost, the 'holy grail' that I have, is the 'European Prologue' from Star Trek IV:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VkCW7Xdpsc (first three minutes)

(Indeed, any original trailer score or unused outtakes from the films are always of the greatest interest!)

*Second, and very close behind that, is a hearty second to the Secret of Vulcan Fury promo. (Heck, I'd still buy whatever they finished of the GAME, if they ever released it in incomplete form...)

Those are the very highest priority; if nothing else is read of this post, just those two votes, then I'll be happy. :-) But secondary to those:
(I apologize for the lack of Netflix timecodes; my Netflix account is on hold.)

For Voyager, I assume that Basics, Scorpion and Dark Frontier will be well-featured on the upcoming Voyager set, but if they're not, those would get a strong vote (Voyager's return to the castaways in Basics, the Species 8472 theme, and the finale, respectively).

Likewise,
*Music (particularly the 'Emergency Command Hologram') from 'Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy,'
*The final tracks (as the EMHs activate multi-vector assault mode, speechify about it afterward, and the Doctor relays Starfleet's message) from 'Message in a Bottle,'
*The music when Starfleet Command makes contact at the end of 'Pathfinder.'

From Deep Space Nine,
*The score to Duet would be lovely (beyond the single track from the current release)
*...As would Badda Bing, Badda Boom (especially the 'slow motion walk' scene as they prepare to enter the holosuites)

For TNG, it's hard to keep track of what's been released and what hasn't- but if it isn't already somewhere that I'm forgetting, the score to Transfigurations (particularly the finale).

And of course, the animated series- so good to hear you're working on that! I realize that with so many votes (It seems as if late-season DS9 represents the majority), only a fraction of any of this can be included... but it really means a lot that you are polling the fans.

I can kind of understand wanting the Original Series opening titles with Shatner's narration, but there's a 15-CD set featuring every note of music from the show.

Actually...I recall in the gigantic thread for the original series music box, one user posted about a certain piece of music that wasn't on the set, and Lukas said to send it to him. He never confirmed whether it was on the set or not, as I recall. So maybe there is one missing bit of TOS music which can be included on this...

Another long shot, but if this is indeed supposed to celebrate the entire 50 year history of Star Trek I thought I'd mention it: Varese's Deluxe Edition of Giacchino's Star Trek Into Darkness score inexplicably left off a single cue in the film (and included in all the live performances, listed on the program and everything). Any chance it might be licensed for this set?

Yavar
