Quick question (and apologies as it's no doubt explained in those links attached).. Is there ANY difference (performance wise) between the tracks Sean's Theme and A New Beginning, or is the former just an edited version of the latter? Thanks
I think you maybe have mixed up the track names you want to know about.
The OST track "Sean's Theme" (track 9) contains 8M1 Alt, a piano rendition of 8M1 A New Beginning, which is the final cue in the movie. The actual film version of that cue did not appear on the OST, but is in the recording sessions leak.
The OST track "Minority Report" (track 1) is the End Credits.
The OST track "A New Beginning" (track 16) is nothing more than a repeat the second half of the end credits (specifically 3:30-end), but with a loop inserted from 2:26-2:52. Same performance.
Thanks for clearing my confusion, Jason. I knew there was a bit that sounded repetitive in there somewhere. So it's A New Beginning that's pretty much the repeated cue. Muchos Gracias!
