I thought of 20 pieces right off the bat, and painfully whittled it down to 5. In no particular order... Adventure on Earth - E.T. Desert Chase - Raiders of the Lost Ark (I'm surprised no one has selected this) Binary Sunset - Star Wars Theme from Superman Battle in the Snow - Empire And just missing the cut: Man Against Beast - Jaws

Sadly, though, whenever I listen to The Desert Chase, I'm reminded of the mess with the Concord release

I refuse to list my favourite 5 JW tracks, as the parameters are too wide. However, if I were to narrow it down to one of my favourite "sounds" of Williams, i.e. the socalled religious sound, I could at the very least pick out five top-of-the-class tracks within this category. So something like: "The Face of Pan" from HOOK "Angela's Prayer" from ANGELA'S ASHES "Restoration" from JANE EYRE "The Penitant Man Will Pass" from INDY 3 "Star of Bethlehem" from HOME ALONE But of course, leaving out stuff like my alltime favourite score, JURASSIC PARK, in that kind of approach will just piss me off. So better leave it at that. "Restoration" is indeed a beautiful piece. Really, the entire Jane Eyre score is wonderful.
