I'm not sure there is ANY composer who could get me emotionally invested in a Chris Nolan film. Not even Jay Dubya.
Absolutely with you. There are exactly two Nolan films I care about, and I care about both a lot. Beyond that, I get nothing from his movies. Doesn't make my opinion any more important, just that it puzzles me what the appeal is. (Those two films, by the way, are MEMENTO and THE PRESTIGE.)
