This will make a fantastic companion to LLL's 3 CD Golden Child release. Superb! Thank you Intrada!

Or as JB put it, "it's been a long hot summer!"

Wonderful news about Howard the Duck. I think it's one of Barry's most underrated scores, very charming and fun.

Whenever I tell people that Howard The Duck has a shockingly great love theme, they laugh.

Then I play it for them and they say "...okay, you're right."

Because it's a John Barry and better yet, I listened to the love theme, it's a buy.

Oh WOW!! "Howard the Duck" has always been one of those legendary impossibilities, so much so that I almost can't believe this is really happening. But here we are. And three discs! I loved the LP but it left out so much, and the sound was never great. This was probably the first John Barry score I ever heard, and it remains one of my all-time favorites. Such great news!!

Another Levay! Fantastic news!

So it will be out in a couple of weeks? I wonder how many minutes of Levay is on it.

Boy, that sounds like.....every other love theme Barry wrote late career.

100 minutes of Barry music, combining romantic, action, noir, and Bond elements. Where do I sign?

Actually its a little more than 100 minutes as Doug and Fake allude to in the podcast. But its vintage 80's style of pure Barry gold. Its going to be a treat for the Barry fans.

Yes, we still not get complete Blade Runner release (to note - from composer, who DON'T want to see such release, by the way). But we have enough editions of it.

And compare with HTD - released on LP and cassettes only, with 18 min. of Barry score.

Wow indeed. And “...our next release is related to this release in some way.” Many pleasant possibilities spring to mind.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's a Barry release. It could be Levay, or Mike Post and Pete Carpenter's music for Captain America with Thick McRunfast (another Universal/Marvel joint). Or maybe an expanded Article 99 (Lea Thompson's in that one as well).

"In some way" implies to me that the connection isn't as heavy as same composer -- I think another Lucasfilm is a good guess, or perhaps another release about a duck? Or maybe even something from Marvel....
