Black Friday after-announcement commentary: 1980sSoundtrackWhore(?): "Not enough 1980's scores!" Random Curmudgeon: "Not another fucking re-issue!" Yavar: "I wish there had been Goldsmith in this batch." Random bitcher: "Not another fucking Goldsmith release!" henry: "Too bad there was no Bill Conti in this batch." First Breath: "Goddamnit, more old fashioned scores! And you're all A-holes for not liking synth scores." Random poster: "Has it shipped yet?" Another random poster: "Announcement says it doesn't ship until __________." Spammer: "If you need help with fake I'D's and fake currency, go to... (also, I have no dick)" Random Astute Poster: "Anybody notice the five second of missing mixing bowls in track twelve?" Everybody else (grateful bastards): "Ordered!" You forgot: Justin Boggan: "Ordered, so I can write another long-winded and detailed analysis on FSM that no-one reads."

A League of Their Own Sony Music, so unlikely. Unfortunately.

A long shot, but I'm hoping Adventures of Batman and Robin magically cleared whatever (seemingly) last-minute hurdle came up. It was soooo close.

STARGATE : 25TH ANNIVERSARY 2CD set ... of course ! Another speculation from me, I wrote 8 months ago in another thread : As long as MV does not officially announce that LA-LA LAND RECORDS has abandoned all plans regarding THE TOWERING INFERNO, we can assume that LLL will continue to work on it. Two personalities who have impressed and influenced me as a child are Mr.Spock and Sherlock Holmes. Let's speculate a bit! We can analyze and interpret some information with a little bit of logic. Ready ? We know from the past that LLL makes a penchant for anniversary releases. See SUPERMAN - 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION or THE THIN RED LINE - 20TH ANNIVERSARY and a lot of others (including the legendary SPACEBALLS: THE 19TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION). Now let's have a look at the movie itself. He had his premiere in December 1974! Conclusion: THE TOWERING INFERNO : 45TH ANNIVERSARY 2CD set is a perfect candidate for this year's LLL Black Friday CD batch! And a personal revitalized dream after the LAND OF THE GIANTS CD set last year … THE TIME TUNNEL - COMPLETE!™ And as support for "Advise & Consent" :… VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA. COMPLETE!™ I vote YAY to all of these titles.

Not really. They are supposed to have two titles in the works that still went through before the Sony stopped licencing.. or did I miss any of them? I wasn't thinking of that window (honestly forgot about it) but if it's one of two that squeaked by, great. Odds are it's not though. Would love to be proven wrong as it's one of my last holy grails.
