Some interesting and very varied answers to the question last night, from Henry's Hallelujah Trail to Michael's Spartacus to Erik's Goonies end title. Thanks to all, everyone contributed thoughtful answers.

Yeah Mel, the lightweights abandoned us and the lock-ins - all 7 of us - had a good chat about On dangerous ground and Robert Ryan, which Big Jim had seen last week, how Norman Jewison got the Fiddler gig, Howard's Carry on dvds, Investigation of a citzen (which Les had watched) and Joe Don Baker's 70s output.

Thanks for organising again, Stephen, sorry you couldnt join us all evenin. Was funny when the park keeper showed up and said You kids have gotta go, i gotta lock the park up. big grin

It's like 4 hours in a Pub, but without the alcohol.

I couldn't be without it.

Did y'all catch the big yawn on Otis's little one?
"Daddy, this film music talk is boring. Put me in my crib!"

The Banning Committee have met and Saul, your daughter is out, mate. She brought up corona in a blatant transgression of the rules, heard by 17 witnesses. I spoke up for her and begged for leniency but they voted. Excommunicated from now on. And she has to report to the police station whenever a zoom is on. Great shame, i think she had a bright future with us big grin

I have a Zoom-type question, but it only applies (I think) to one character. Bill, if you could just CD-ise one of your thirty favourite LPs, which would it be?

Bill, if you can contact Chris R, he has my contact details. If he wants to make sure I'm OK with that he can check with me. There'll be no need to send the LP --I have it, and it's an excellent pressing. I love that track where the mood keeps changing -- without checking, I think it's on side one.

Last night's meeting went on for FOUR HOURS.

That's how much people are enjoying this. Wow.

I can't believe you went on so much longer after I left. Now I’m sorry I left.

It was mind-blowing enough when I came on board (heh heh) here in '98 and discovered I Was No Longer Alone. Then in Y2K I walk into a hotel room in Detroit and there are a bunch of folks I'd never seen before in my life and what happens, without blinking an eye we start right in as if picking up from the latest thread. So now it's 2020, see, and it feels like I'm back in '98 and Y2K all over again after having crossed over into...The Twilight Zoom. Cyberspace? Detroit?? How about Video Village and N-S-E-W USA, Canada, the UK, Norway, Poland, Brazil, Spain, India, Australia...have I left any out?

I enjoyed the meeting, though I was unable for various reasons to attend the last ones.
I will see which time slot works best for me, might be Saturday at some weekends and Sunday on others.

Great Howard. Now Bill will know when to attend and we won't be able to talk about Star Wars or Covid.

:-P

This is the week we're on today, SATURDAY at 9pm UK time.

And as it's Halloween I think we should talk about scary movies and their scores.

Cheers

Not favourite Sean Connery film?

Given today's news, I think we better make tonights call a combined Halloween and Sean Connery tribute.

So there will be two questions...
