Regarding Brainstorm, my memory is a bit hazy--has Varese ever released a score that had both a film recording and a rerecording (a la The Fury)? Not only have they done that, but they were the first label to do it for The Fury. Other examples include Goldsmith’s Justine and Damien: Omen II. Yavar I may have read it wrong, but I think he was specifically asking if Brainstorm had that treatment: both the film score and the re-recording. Which would be "nope."

When they finally release "Volunteers," I will then be in favor of an expanded "Volunteers." -

Well specifically a release that featured the original recording and the rerecording--ya'll answered my questions though, thanks! I think the basis of the question is that, if (when) Brainstorm gets re-released, I'm hoping they include both the original and rerecorded versions of the score. I find that sort of thing very interesting.

Brainstorm is a re-recording of the score, not the original cues. Yes. As I noted in the post directly above yours.

I did in my similar threads on Goldsmith, Rozsa, Poledouris, and Bernstein...for what it’s worth. Yavar

Updated list, included unreleased scores and rejected scores unreleased. In that case we should include "The Hand" and "Deadly Blessing" as well. So far the film version of "Vella" from "Krull" hasn't been released either. Regarding "Aliens", there are a few notes/sounds during the finale when Ripley finds Newt and the Queen that don't seem to stem from anywhere in the released music. The supposed "isolated score" on the Blu-ray sadly is just an approximation of the Horner material and not a real isolated score. So one needs to listen to the film itself.
