None of my little efforts survived the Threademic, so I'll have to locate and re-up. I'm talking to the archivist remotely. She's telling me that they might have to strike a new negative from the inter-positive. So you might need to wait a bit.

The archivist found one, but only because it was still caught in the Silly Filter (which prevented it being posted to begin with): "Seven-eight"* had great music, Mon Dieu! There was MAGIC, THE FURY, JAWS DEUX**! LES GARCONS DU BRESIL*** gave us all such a thrill and SUR-HOMME**** made the teen boys happy, teux ! *1978 **JAWS 2 ***THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL ****SUPERMAN

Sir-m David-m, fun limerick. Keep it up. Trouble is, Miss Joan, a body's got to FEEL something about the topic, to write about it well. That's what Stephen Sondheim taught us. And I don't have that many strong opinions about film music.

And I don't have that many strong opinions about film music. But I did manage to squeeze this one out.... Stop calling them by their first name! Composers? Our pals? How lame. Saying "Jerry" or "Johnny", (worse yet) "Mikky" or "Bronny" Makes it sound like you're grasping for fame.

And I don't have that many strong opinions about film music. Now I'll amend this, Joan, by saying that there's PLENTY of topics I have strong opinions about (my detractors can point you to gobs of threads where I've shot my mouth off). But this thread is for Film Music Limericks, so I will abide by the OP's preferences. (If he ever allows other kinds, I'll probably flood this place with my opinions on cats...)

I don’t think it specifies film music in the thread title.... I think it did in the original post, the one that got lost, so that's probably what I'm remembering.
