How much of an improvement is the anniversary set?

A significant, but not dramatic, improvement of the Batman score, but if you already have it, you're good. If not, the set is still available at SAE.

Uh, do they usually have their own set amount of copies at a time, or require ordering directly from LLL for each individual purchase? Because I tried ordering from Monsters in Motion yesterday, and I got a refund earlier today as a result of them doing the latter. So assuming SAE doesn't have stock lying around, then it likely means they haven't removed the listing to reflect accordingly.

So in that case, if they cancel my order there as well...... does anyone here have a copy they can sell me?


I asked SAE ( since I bought from them in late 2019) but they said they don’t have replacement discs anymore. They only have the regular sale units of this set. They said ask LLL directly.


I wasn't asking about the replacement disc (don't even know what the deal is there), but you are saying that they usually only list an item when they have it in their inventory, right?


Yes, the stand alone set itself is availble.

Been dealing with them for a long time and have never heard them hide behind that excuse.

Little things which they always accomdated but now its everything policy based.. very rigid. Im sure their other services are very good as always. But i just feel the warmth is also missing now.

Always go directly to the label for a replacement. It's the simplest solution.

We do have some disc 4 cds left. If you never requested one over the course of the last 6 years (and about 800 out there needed to be replaced) then please reach out and email us at

We honestly have such a backlog of emails going on due to AI replacement discs Star Trek 2 being out of stock and delayed
or returned shipments to several European countries due to the new postal rules that we are simply drowning in emails at this time. I know it can be frustrating but please be patient while we address every issue with every customer as quickly as we can...everything from lost packages to people having issues with the plastic wrapping on their CD package have a tear in it when they receive it.
